MyTown 2 is a mod that provides server admins and players with the tools to protect their land and not worry about griefers. It does this through letting players create towns. The main difference from all the other protection mods/plugins out there is that it also has protection for other tech mods, like IC2.
First, you need to find the perfect land to build your first base. MyTown2 protects land on a chunk by chunk basis.
To see the chunks zone, press F9, you'll see red lines vertical, F9 twice to see green grids. To remove lines, press F9 till it disappears.
Decide on which chunk you wish to claim and stand inside of it. You can place an outline around it to help you in knowing the area of your claim (or you can use /t map to check if you are inside your town's area when you make it.
To create your first town using MyTown2, do /t new <townname> - Example: /t new MyMiniTown (If command doesn't work, replace /t with /mytown). This will make a town and will claim the chunk in which you are standing.
You'll receive this message after it's successfully created your first town:
Want to claim another chunk next to your main chunk?
Stand in a chunk next to your claim chunk and do /t claim
You'll get this message after you claim second chunk:
Enjoy your first MyTown2 Town!
But wait! How do I add friends to my Mytown2? To add your friends to your town, you'll need to send invitation to your friend, do /t invite <playername> Your friend will need to accept your invitation by doing /t accept <townname>
Other Useful Things
MyTown lets you set a town spawn. To set a town spawn, stand where you would like to create and use /t setspawn. To teleport to it use /t spawn. To visit the spawn of another town use /town spawn [name]
